workshop3 day 1+2

so now we ended all of the workshops and my opinion is that the last workshop we had was also the best one. the first day we had a taste of what to come when we had to peform the streetballet made by the Unsworn. we had to walk a 3 minute walk in 30 minutes through a crowded street in the city. it was very interesting to see peoples reactions and some were even upset. i think most of the people thought we were doing some kind of political demonstration. i thought it was amusing and it made u think about how u can affect people by just changing just the speed of a normal behavior.

the homework to the next day was to choreograph the whole class to do some cind of streetballet. i don´t know how much ballet it was in the end but it was a lot of fun doing it.
our group decided tthat the class should organize by height, the shortest first. then they were supposed to march and make as much sound as possible but by making a crescendo.
it went very well and no peolple got hurt by the traffic either.
so alltogether we performed 9 different ballets all over the city and did everything from marching, folding paperplanes to say hi to everyone we met.

workshop2:4

today was fieldtrip/experiment day in the park. our group had suddenly expanded over night i don´t know how that happend :-/

we put up signs in the park next to a path saying that it´s not allowed to walk on any area not coverd with grass. haha it didn´t go to well people just looked at the sign and either they walked an other way or they didn´t care. but it was a pretty nice day hanging out in the park with the others in the sun and just watching peoples behaviour. i think people got suspicious when they saw 10 people starring at them while they were just walking their regular walk in the park. but it was pretty fun

workshop2:3

today we was supposed to present ideas to the group. the only problem was that we were way to many (again).i think it would have been easier if we split up in the beginning. it feels like we are in school all the time but we never do something. and sometimes our group is 10 people and other times we´re 20.

we got divided in to groups so tomorrow we´re going to the park to do some experiments hope that will be more rewarding than today.

workshop2:2 the walk

i don´t know exactly what we were doing today. i understood the the assignment but it just didn´t work out they way it supposed to i think. we were way to many people in our group and it resulted in the lack of conversation and initiative.we just walked around and if there were any discussion at all it was about however this assignment was meaningful or not.
i think it would be more interesting if we got the sexond assignment at the same time.

the good thing about this assignment is that i met people from other programs that i normally wouldn´t talk to so that was interseting.

worlshop2:1

so the first day of the second workshop starts. presentation of new beginning. i thought it was intersesting to see what they´ve been doing, but i not sure i understood the radio, com thing.
i thought it would have been interesting to hear more about how they work and their way from design/art school to actually working with design. one hour is not much time...

workshop 1 ends

so today was the last day of the first workshop. i have to say it was a bit confusing not knowing exactly what was planned for this day but it turned out to be quite good anyway. i think our assignment was a good way to start this course and i´m very happy about the e-mail i received today about the schedule.(yeeeyyy i can write with ink in my calendar again).

what I understand from the e-mail the coming workshops will be more demanding and that´s good.we need to sweat!!!! i look forward to work in groups with students from the other programs

damn i sound so positive ... i would be surprised (and i hope i will be) if K3 arrange a course that you (almost) can´t complaine of!!!

Day 2

Interesting lecture today. Pretty hard assignment but I'm looking forward to do it. I hope I will complete it successfully. The best thing about the course is that we get to meet new people from other programs and listen to people who comes from outside school. But I still don't understand how hard it can be to make a schedule. I understand that we need to spend time with the assignment but it's not necessary to put 9-18 in the calendar when we only have to spend one hour in school. Isn't it up to the student to plan our own time?
